Excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technologist with approximately 2-6 years of industry experience, to join a large scale practice based in Birmingham city centre on a permanent basis.

THE PRACTICE

As an Architectural Technologist you will be joining a large practice with long standing roots in the Midlands region. The practice has grown substantially since their inception over 30 years ago, now boasting a team of over 60 dedicated individuals, most of which working out of their Birmingham office.

The company are specialists in the Residential sector, covering most sub sectors within Residential work, including;
Student Accommodation, Social/Affordable Housing, House builder Types, High Rise and more. The practice do work in other areas with Education becoming more prevalent in the business, but Residential work is the company's lifeblood.

They are based in modern offices in Birmingham city centre with parking on site and within walking distance of Birmingham's train stations and other means of public transport. The practice also offer hybrid/flexible working, and as a result their accessibility means this position is appropriate for an Architectural Technologist based in Birmingham, Coventry, Walsall, Wolverhampton, and practically most of the West Midlands region.

THE ROLE - ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST

The role on offer is for an "intermediate" level Architectural Technologist with around 2-6 years of industry experience, that was ideally gained in a private practice environment focusing on the Residential sector.

As an Architectural Technologist in this position you will be working alongside Senior & Associate level Architectural Technologists, developing your skillset and being presented with the opportunity to run jobs and progress your career.

The practice utilise AutoCAD & Revit software, so prior experience of using both of these packages would be ideal, however Revit training can be supplied where necessary, so long as applicants have AutoCAD knowledge as a minimum.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Possess a degree in Architectural Technologist or a HNC/HND in a related field.

Working towards CIAT status.

Approximately 2-6 years of industry experience.

Ideally hold 2-3 years of Residential sector experience.

Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD (essential) & Revit (desirable).
