Box and Gable Architects is a small, growing firm dedicated to thoughtful designs for functional living, practical construction, and the positive growth of our neighborhoods. Our project types include custom and speculative single-family residences, townhomes, middle housing, cottages, and ADUs. Our project list is expanding, and we are excited to add passionate and talented team members that are eager to jump in and join the adventure!
We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager/Project Architect who can carry a project from start to finish. The ideal candidate is willing to be flexible with job tasks and open to growing with the firm. Individuals with well-developed design skills, a high sense of project ownership, great communication, and positive attitude are encouraged to apply.
This is a remote position until further notice.
Responsibilities include:- Feasibility studies, site planning, and zoning/building code research
- Design
- Coordination and communication with clients and consultants
- Construction Documents
- Permit submittals
- Construction Administration
- Licensed Architect or on path to licensure
- 6+ years of experience in a residential architecture firm (preferably local)
- Demonstrated ability to research local zoning codes and apply them to site-specific conditions
- Thorough knowledge of wood construction and building codes (IRC and IBC)
- Proficiency in Revit, familiarity with AutoCAD and Sketch Up
- Confidence working directly with clients and consultants
- Willingness to learn and work as a team
