Studio Trimble is looking for an energetic, experienced senior designer who has aspirations for partnership and ownership. Studio Trimble is a 35 year old, full-service, custom design, turnkey interior design company located in Blue Ridge, and soon opening on the north side of Atlanta. The studio specializes in both residential and commercial projects and takes projects from raw land, to complete design and production of construction documents, through Interior Design, Decoration & Installation.
We handle both new construction and renovations, while delivering creative and functional design solutions resulting in personalized spaces that meet client needs and reflect their vision. Our studio offers both turnkey design services and purchasing of all interior design and decoration services through our expansive dealership. Studio Trimble has won many design awards over the years and takes pride in utilizing trend setting aesthetics and functionality with our teams creativity resulting in authentic, one of a kind designs.

Role Description
This is a full-time senior designer position with future ownership opportunity. Responsibilities will include assisting the principal with firm management, HR, Overseeing design team, assist with project management, production of project documents, collaborating with clients, architects, vendors and contractors. This position can be part remote work, but office presence is required for most of the time. Knowledge of purchasing and dealership management is a plus.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years managing design teams & minimum 10 years working for a registered interior designer or licensed architect.
- We produce and stamp our own construction drawings that are submitted for permit so NCIDQ certified, and being a Registered Interior Designer in Georgia is a big plus.
- Proficient in Architecture, Interior Design Construction Drawings
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in design software:
AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, knowledge of 20/20 a plus - Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is required.
- Familiarity with local codes, construction processes, and industry trends.
