We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to support a product training team during a maternity leave coverage period. The consultant will overlap with the current Course Developer at the beginning and end of the engagement to ensure a smooth knowledge transfer. This role focuses on developing and maintaining eLearning focused on product usage, product adoption, ongoing product updates, and emerging sales enablement initiatives across multiple product lines.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop engaging eLearning courses and modules
- Translate product information and SME input into clear, user-focused training
- Support both new course development and updates to existing content
- Conduct SME interviews and perform independent research as needed
- Work efficiently with minimal supervision in a flexible, fast-moving environment
- Help determine appropriate course structure, length, and interaction level
- Experience using Articulate Rise (required) and Storyline (as needed)
- Experience with Camtasia
, screen recordings, and interactive elements (hotspots, simulations, etc.) - Experience working with Pendo
- Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and operate comfortably with some ambiguity
- Background supporting sales training or sales enablement
- Familiarity with data analytics concepts or products
Consultant must provide their own:
- Laptop
- Licenses for Articulate 360, Camtasia, and other required tools
The ideal consultant:

- Works quickly without needing close supervision
- Is comfortable experimenting and iterating
- Communicates clearly and keeps work moving forward
- Brings a positive, collaborative attitude and enjoys a friendly team culture
Start: ASAP
Duration: ~3 months (with possible extension)
Hours: ~20 hours/week (consistent)
The pay range for this is $50.00 to $55.00 per hour on W2 basis. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
