This Interior Designer job is suited to a designer with 5+ years' UK experience delivering luxury private residential interiors.
The role is based in North London with one day working from home following probation. Projects include bespoke interior design for high end residential projects.
The Residential Interior Designer will lead projects from concept design through to technical detailing, FF&E, procurement and on-site delivery.
Role & Responsibilities
* Lead high-end residential interior design projects across all Stages
* Develop concept design, space planning and detailed technical packages
* Produce and coordinate drawing packages using AutoCAD
* Prepare FF&E specifications, finishes schedules and sourcing documentation
* Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors and suppliers
* Attend site meetings and oversee on-site design implementation
* Monitor programme, scope and commercial performance
* Maintain strong design quality aligned with studio principles
* Contribute to the development of the interiors service
Skills & Experience Required
* Minimum 5 years' high-end residential interior design experience in the UK
* Strong portfolio demonstrating luxury residential interiors in London
* Confident across all project stages including technical detailing
* Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations relevant to residential projects
* Proven FF&E specification and supplier coordination experience
* Strong space planning and presentation skills
* Commercial awareness and programme management ability
* Excellent client-facing communication skills
* Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
* On-site experience advantageous
Salary & Benefits
* £40,000 - £50,000
* Permanent position
* 1 day per week working from home after probation
* Office hours 9am - 6pm with flexible working approach
