Location:
St Albans
Salary: £32,000 to £40,000
A well respected, design focused architecture studio in St Albans is looking to appoint an Architectural Technician to join its expanding team. With a strong reputation for collaboration, long standing client relationships and a consistent commitment to quality, the practice brings together considered design and technical expertise. Working across all RIBA stages, the studio specialises in high quality residential and mixed use schemes and provides a supportive setting for technicians ready to take on increased responsibility.
Role
* Lead the technical delivery of residential and mixed use projects from planning through to completion
* Prepare comprehensive drawing packages and detailed construction information
* Coordinate with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
* Support project delivery across all RIBA work stages
* Work closely with senior team members to resolve detailing and buildability challenges
Requirements
* Qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
* Strong UK practice experience in a technical role
* In depth knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction standards
* Proficient in AutoCAD, with Photoshop and InDesign skills beneficial
* Experience delivering large scale residential schemes
* Excellent communication, coordination and organisational abilities
* Proactive and solutions driven mindset
