A growing and forward thinking design practice is seeking a talented Urban Designer to join its expanding team in Portishead. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about shaping high quality residential neighbourhoods and community focused outdoor spaces. The role will involve preparing and overseeing conceptual urban design and planning work, including feasibility studies, masterplans, development briefs and design strategies.

As part of a collaborative team, you will take ownership of delegated projects, managing programmes, coordinating input and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Attributes and

Skills:

* Minimum of three years UK based experience within an architectural practice, working on residential or mixed use projects for national house builders or housing developers

* Recognised qualification in Urban Design

* Strong attention to detail alongside the ability to understand and contribute to the wider vision of a project

* Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills, supported by good hand drawing and presentation ability

* Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

* Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD and Sketch Up or other visualisation software

* Ambitious, proactive and motivated to progress professionally
