Overview

ET. Boggess Architect, Inc. (ETB) is seeking a dynamic and motivated Architect or Architectural Designer to join our team. This is a great opportunity to engage in all facets of the profession within a collaborative, small-firm setting, as you will be exposed to all phases of architectural work. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from initial concept through to construction completion, in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

ETB's services has a diverse range of building types, including: commercial, educational, governmental, community/recreation, healthcare, religious, senior living, planning, historical restoration/renovation, and residential projects.

Due to our team size and needs from our clients, we prefer an on-site individual to add to our team. Remote work or a hybrid position may be considered.

The successful candidate will be empowered with the opportunity for professional growth and resume building through participation in all aspects of design, documentation, and project delivery. Strong AutoCAD skills are required, along with an understanding of building construction, documentation, and detailing. This individual will not be just another employee, but a key team member to the ETB team.

Duties
  • Create detailed construction drawings and technical schematics utilizing AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Develop detailed schematics and drafting plans for construction projects
  • Prepare 3D models and visualizations to communicate design intent effectively to clients and team members.
  • Collaborate with project engineers and other professionals to ensure design feasibility.
  • Stay current and provide insight on industry trends and software advancements.
  • Support project management by coordinating schedules, tracking revisions, and ensuring timely delivery of design packages.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure design compliance
Skills & Qualifications
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit.
  • Experience with software such as Sketch Up, Photoshop and Lumion is a plus.
  • Strong drafting skills with a keen eye for detail in schematics and technical drawings.
  • Licensed Architect - preferred, not required.
  • Strong knowledge of building construction and detailing.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
