This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, 60-year-old Chartered Practice based in a purpose-built, open-plan studio in a charming semi-rural setting, just a short walk from a vibrant market town with excellent local amenities and free parking. The studio boasts a collaborative culture, with a talented mix of Architects, Designers, and Technologists, including several accredited in Building Conservation, many of whom have built long careers within the practice.
The practice delivers varied projects across Residential Living, Ecclesiastical, Conservation & Heritage, and Commercial sectors, providing the successful Architect with exposure to a wide range of design and technical challenges.
The Role
We are looking for an Architect with 3–5 years post-qualification experience (minimum) to manage a varied portfolio of projects. A genuine interest in Conservation & Heritage work is essential, and the practice actively supports career development, including potential accreditation from AABC or similar bodies.

Deliver high-quality design and technical documentation for a variety of project types.
Manage multiple projects on-site, including contractor coordination.
Chair client and project meetings with confidence.
Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
Architect Requirements
Fully qualified Architect with 3–5 years post-qualification experience.
Proven experience in project running and site delivery.
Solid experience across all RIBA stages 0–7.
Background in one or more of the practice’s core markets:
Residential, Conservation & Heritage, Ecclesiastical, or Commercial.
Technically proficient in Revit or AutoCAD.
Career-driven with ambition and a keen interest in professional development.
What’s on offer
Competitive salary (£38,000–£45,000 depending on experience)
Generous benefits package
Flexible working hours and home working options
Opportunity to work on high-profile Conservation & Heritage projects
Support for professional development and accreditation
