Overview

Our client is seeking a Drafter to join their team. As a Drafter, you will be part of the Design Support Department supporting the Engineering and Construction teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Drafter

Location: Eden Prairie, MN

• Drafts and creates routine to moderately complex detailed drawings, sketches, and profiles used in the planning or construction of various physical projects or products.
• Follow directions to conceive of or create form and design variations for consideration.
• Use extensive knowledge of computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software to produce accurate designs.
• Collaborate with team members to review and refine drawings ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain organized documentation of drawings and revisions for project tracking and quality assurance.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in drafting, with a strong emphasis on CAD software proficiency.
• Mandatory experience working with CREO software.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• On-site availability, expecting 2-3 days per week, with potential remote work discussions after onboarding.
