Architectural Technician
Location: Central London
Salary: £35,000-£45,000 (dependent on experience)
A design-led architectural studio in Central London is looking for a skilled Architectural Technician to join its collaborative and creative team. The practice is renowned for delivering high-quality, innovative projects across residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use sectors. This role offers the chance to work on technically demanding projects from design through to construction within a supportive, design-focused studio environment.

- Prepare and coordinate detailed technical drawings, construction packages, and specifications
- Support projects across all RIBA stages, from concept through to completion
- Assist with planning submissions, building control documentation, and tender packages
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Ensure technical information complies with UK Building Regulations and industry standards
- Contribute to design development while maintaining high technical accuracy
- Support and mentor junior technicians where applicable
- Recognised qualification in Architectural Technology
- Strong technical knowledge of UK construction methods, detailing, and regulations
- Proficiency in Vectorworks, Archicad, AutoCAD
- Experience preparing detailed drawing packages for planning and construction
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Collaborative approach, confident communicator, and proactive problem-solver
- Previous experience within a UK architectural practice is highly desirable
