Remote Furniture Design Lead

Accountabilities

• Lead product design and development for furniture lines.
• Conduct product research, concepting, and line development.
• Translate guest insights into innovative design solutions.
• Create compelling design concepts through 3D modeling and rendering.
• Develop designs considering ergonomics, materials, and manufacturing constraints.
• Collaborate with sourcing and technical design teams throughout development.
• Mentor junior designers and promote a collaborative team atmosphere.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional design experience in furniture or related fields.
• Advanced skills in 3D modeling tools (e.g., Rhino, Solid Works).
• Strong rapid sketching and visualization capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Ability to apply market research and trend insights effectively.
• Demonstrated independence in work while thriving in collaborative settings.
