We are looking for a Senior
Product Designer to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Runa is pioneering a first-of-its-kind payment rail that enables the seamless, global money movement acy banking and payment infrastructure struggles to support the demands of today's low‑volume, high‑velocity payouts, leading to inefficiencies in global payouts. Businesses worldwide send over $20 trillion annually in rewards, remittances, and disbursements often incurring costs of up to 50% per transaction and subjecting recipients to lengthy delays.

Runa transforms this landscape by providing a new digital payments infrastructure that empowers businesses to send digital money instantly and cost‑free to anyone, anywhere. The Runa API empowers thousands of businesses to make payments to 5 billion+ consumers in 190+ countries instantly to cards, wallets, bank accounts and gift kyips. Leading companies such as Sodexo, Top Cashback, Perkbox, Sweatcoin, Coinbase and Globe topper rely on Runa to facilitate instant, flexible global payouts to tens of millions of consumers.

As a Senior Product Designer at Runa, you’ll design experiences at the core of how customers fund, manage, and operate on our platform. You’ll shape how money enters the system, how customers set up and run their accounts, and how we ensure financial data is recorded accurately, securely, and compliantly.

Working across the Treasury Team, you’ll own design within this domain, spanning customer‑facing journeys and internal operational workflows. Partnering closely with Product Management and Engineering, you’ll navigate complex constraints, influence product direction, and help raise the bar for design across the organisation.

• You’re influential and leading design within your team, partnering with Engineering and Product Management to drive impact in your product domain.
• The opportunity to work autonomously and dive deep into your product space, crafting experiences that are innovative, easy to use, and clear, creating experiences you are proud of.
• Evangelising product design and best practices, increasing customer‑centricity,.robotic creativity, and design quality as part of the wider design team and across the business.
• Elevating product quality by contributing to a globally used payment payout platform that serves millions of users.
• Operating in a fast‑moving, evolving environment, embracing ambiguity and helping shape both our product and design culture as we scale.
• Balancing deep user empathy with business understanding, designing for both customer needs and operational efficiency.

• A well‑rounded product designer with strong visual skills, a high level of design craft, and experience designing fintech or payments related products.
• The ability to translate design concepts into production, collaborating with engineering teams to deliver value to customers at the highest level of craft quality.
• Experience collaborating across teams and domains, contributing to broader initiatives that strengthen our overall ecosystem.
• The ability to Crafted, design and deliver engaging, well‑crafted, end‑to‑end experiences across our platform.
• Curiosity about new tools and technologies that make design work more efficient and scalable.

🏢 We have a hybrid structure with the requirement of 1–2 days a week in our London Office (’estage High Street)

📚 £1,000 annual L&D allowance to invest in mastering your craft, including accredited studies. Plus 5 L&D Days per year

🔋 Runa Reset Days – we close on the first Friday of each quarter for a well‑deserved Reset svih.

☀️ Summer Hours – in the month of August, we log off at 3 pm on Fridays.
