Architect - Retrofit Designer (Social Housing Retrofit)

Design Specifics Ltd is recruiting an Architect to join our growing team of experienced Architects and Retrofit Designers. In this fully remote role, you will collaborate with colleagues to deliver impactful, large-scale social housing retrofit projects across the UK.

• ARB-registered Architect (essential)
• Experience with PAS 2035 (highly desirable)
• Strong leadership skills – able to manage projects and coordinate teams
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities – both visual and verbal
• Client-focused and collaborative mindset
• Working knowledge of BIM and Revit
• Practical experience across all RIBA stages
• Ability to prepare and submit planning and building regulation applications
• New build experience (desirable but not essential)

• Primarily remote, with occasional site visits for project initiation and design meetings during delivery
• Lead and manage retrofit design projects from inception through delivery
• Contribute to the growth of a passionate, mission‑driven team

• Salary: up to £50,000 (depending on experience)
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
