The Opportunity
Our client is looking for an individual with experience completing Architectural designs and details for the commercial retail sector. They are looking for an individual with experience using Revit and Auto Cad to complete the following…
Preparation of the design layouts for new builds, fit outs, renovations, expansions, rebuilds etc. of projects in accordance with client specifications and brand requirementsUsing Revit to complete comprehensive technical drawings ensuring client standards are maintainedSupport application processes for all planning and permit approvalsAttending meetings with the clientOverseeing all phases from build permit set through to clean outOversee contract administrationSupport project proposal team by providing technical informationAs this is a senior role, the client is ideally looking for an individual that can act as the go to person for junior level staff, liaise directly with clients, oversee contract administration, and potentially do business development. All in all, we are really just looking for a seasoned candidate, that does not mind drawing, while bringing value to a great team and great organization overall.
Hybrid opportunities are available and to be discussed should a candidate require flexibility to work from home sometimes.
Experience
Ideally 10 + years’ experience as an Architectural TechnologistAt least 2 years’ experience using Revit ideallyExperience with AutoCADMUST have experience completing commercial designs, ideally for the retail sectorMUST be experienced in the design of all building aspects incorporating structural, mechanical, electrical and architectural details.A diploma as an Architectural TechnologistA strong communicator that works well in a team environmentAlthough a licensed Architect is not required for this role, we will consider licensed Architects that are willing to drawEducation
Diploma in Architectural Technology a MUSTWill also consider a licensed Architect for this role, but the Architect must be willing to also draw
