Role: Branding & Trim Developer
Reports into: Head of Buying
Contract Type: Full Time, working 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week
Location: Hybrid, working 3 days a week in our offices based in Old Street, London

As a Branding & Trim Developer at Oner Active, you’ll play a key role in shaping the identity and quality of our products through innovative trims and branding design. Working alongside the product team you’ll develop and deliver trims and branding components that embody the Oner Active DNA. You’ll lead the end to end process from concept to bulk production in line with the critical path requirements.
You’llbe responsible for:
- Designing and developing new trims and branding concepts, including badges, woven and heat-transfer labels, zipper pullers, metal hardware, drawcord tips, and other decorative or functional details.
- Interpret the creative direction and branding guidelines and develop production-ready, fit for purpose trims.
- Collaborate with the design team to explore innovative materials, finishes, and techniques that enhance product aesthetics and functionality.
- Manage the full trim approval process, from sampling and testing to final production sign-off.
- Ensure all branding and trims deliver consistent colour, quality, and performance across all product categories.
- Maintain and evolve the Oner Active trim and branding library, documenting all approved items and supplier specifications.
- Partner with global suppliers to source and develop sustainable, compliant materials that pass the test of time.
- Conduct and review physical and chemical testing requirements globally (e.g., durability, wash performance, colourfastness, and safety).
- Work cross-functionally with the tech, design and buying teams to ensure trims integrate with fabrics and garment construction and hit the critical path dates.
- Research and propose new ideas/technologies for trims, branding finishes, and application methods to keep Oner Active at the forefront of innovation.
- Degree in Fashion Technology, Product Design, Textile Design, or related field.
- Proven experience in trim and branding design and development within fashion, sportswear, or performance apparel.
