BIM Technician; Architecture

Job Summary

A growing Architectural practice who are well established, have a fantastic new opportunity for experienced BIM Technician. This is a unique opportunity and we are looking for someone who can do QA on models, translating architectural survey models whilst getting into the detailed coordination of this with the team and checking technical works. You must have a technical Architectural background for this role, with prior experience working in Architecture teams and prior experience being client facing and visiting client sites (only required once a month).

• QA on BIM models, translating architectural survey models.
• Detail coordination with project team.
• Checking technical works and technical coordination.
• Client site visits once a month.

• Technical Architectural background.
• Prior experience working in Architecture teams.
• Client facing experience and visiting client sites (once a month).
• Experience using Revit.
• UK experience in a similar role and familiarity with UK building regulations.

Based just outside of Southampton, joining this expanding team you will have the opportunity to work on leading Commercial, Science & Research and University schemes. The practice is local provider of Architecture, Landscape, Master-planning and Interior design services.

Due to the hybrid working on offer with this role, commutable locations could include:
Hampshire, Dorset, Winchester, Southampton, Totton, Eastleigh, Stockbridge, Romsey, Basingstoke, Andover, Salisbury, Waterlooville, Petersfield, Newbury, Ringwood, Poole, Christchurch, Brockenhurst, Lyndhurst, Lymington, Bournemouth.

• A salary up to circa £48,000 (DOE) and wider package.
• Hybrid working – work from home 2/3 days a week.
