Our client is seeking a fast, reliable editor to turn long-form live streams into a consistent volume of high-performing short clips. You will work directly from stream VODs to produce ready-to-publish assets for X, You Tube Shorts, Tik Tok, and Instagram Reels.
“Minimum lift” means sharp cuts, clean pacing, strong hook-first openings, simple subtitles, light polish, and consistent formatting — no heavy motion graphics required.
Core ResponsibilitiesSelect compelling moments from livestream VODs.
Edit short-form clips for social platforms (primarily 16:9; occasional 9:16).
Create clean, readable burnt-in captions.
Maintain a consistent look, pacing, and polish across all clips.
Produce multiple variations when useful (e.g., alternate hooks or intros).
Export with correct specs, filenames, and fast turnaround.
Maintain organised project files for quick revisions.
Collaborate with the producer to iterate based on performance data.
Minimum throughput: Clip every client livestream, producing at least 4 clips per stream, depending on length and content density.
Clip length: Typically 20–90 seconds, occasionally up to 2–3 minutes for X or You Tube.
Formats:
16:9 (primary)
9:16 (secondary)
Packaging standards:
Strong hook within the first second
No slow intros
No unnecessary preamble
