BMA is seeking a goal-oriented Architectural Designer I for our growing Houston office. This team member will be responsible for coordination, design, and execution of various project types such as office, hospitality, health care, and health science facilities.

• Coordinate project design, develop creative design concepts for projects, and prepare design presentations
• Develop design and construction documents on projects of various size and complexity
• Work both independently and in a team environment
• Coordinate with consulting engineers and other design professionals
• Often interface with clients on small projects
• Assist with contract administration responsibilities

• Professional degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited program
• 3-5 years of experience
• Licensed or actively pursuing licensure
• Knowledge of basic codes and the principles of architectural practice
• Proficient in the use of Revit software
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Thrives in diverse and excellence-oriented environment
• Capable of understanding and solving complex project challenges
• Seeks knowledge, growth, and experience
