$74,700.00 / yr – $98,025.00 / yr
Project ArchitectAt Jacobs, we challenge what is currently accepted so we can shape innovative and lasting solutions in Architecture. By joining us as a Project Architect, you’ll research, program, plan, design, and administer building projects for clients in a variety of industries, including data centers, commercial, and advanced manufacturing. You’ll apply knowledge of architectural design, lead zoning, building codes, building systems and materials, and mentor less experienced architects and designers.
This hybrid opportunity allows candidates to work remotely and report into a local Jacobs office for team meetings and collaboration.
Deliver excellence in all phases of projects, from planning through construction administration and close‑out, maintaining firm‑wide quality standards while working closely with technical leadership and engineering discipline leads to understand design intent and ensure successful implementation of building design projects.
Contribute to advanced technology facilities, producing cutting‑edge design solutions that support the development of Open AI and other critical facilities.
Qualifications- Bachelor in Architecture from an accredited Architectural Program
- 5 years of professional experience, including strong Revit skills
- Professional Architectural License; licensed in multiple states
- Demonstrated program experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe suite
- Extensive experience with building codes and other regulations required
- Understanding of scopes of work, developing budgets, and reviewing schedules
- Ability to work well across multiple teams and lead small architectural teams
- Ability to travel to project sites in the U.S.
- Masters in Architecture
- Experience designing advanced facilities (Data Centers, Life Science, or other Industrial Facilities that include office environments)
- Participation in professional organizations
- LEED AP credentials
