Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, providers, and health plans through inbound calls
  • Assist callers with inquiries and requests for home healthcare services, equipment, and supplies
  • Utilize multiple applications and a dual monitor setup to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Meet and exceed individual performance targets related to call handling and quality
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and adhere to company policies, including HIPAA/PHI regulations
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a call center environment and 1 year of experience in healthcare with medical terminology
  • Proficient in navigating dual monitors and multiple applications
  • Ability to type at a minimum speed of 30 WPM and perform data entry while actively listening
  • Competence in basic Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a high-volume healthcare call center
  • Familiarity with SHL Customer Service Phone Simulation Assessment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot during calls
  • Proven track record of meeting performance metrics in a call center environment
