Position: Customer Experience Specialist (Live Chat)

Mavis has the distinction of being the most trusted brand in the tuition industry since 1986 with 17 centres in Singapore and we are seeking a dedicated Customer Experience Specialist (Live Chat) in Myammar to join us. Candidates are expected to have a conducive environment and good internet connection as this is a work from home role.

As a Customer Experience Specialist (Live Chat), you will take over conversations when automated bot responses are unable to resolve enquiries and ensure proper escalation to the Singapore-based team when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor enquiries via the company’s CRM (Client Relationship Management) system (currently using Pepper Cloud).
  • Respond to parents’ enquiries regarding classes, schedules, and general information in a timely and professional manner.
  • Take over conversations when chatbot responses are insufficient or unresolved.
  • Provide clear, accurate, and empathetic communication to customers.
  • Escalate complex or sensitive cases to the Singapore-based team when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM system.
  • Support operational improvements by sharing customer feedback and recurring enquiry trends.
  • Requirements
    • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
    • Fluent in Mandarin to communicate with Chinese customers (Advantage).
    • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar platforms). Familiarity with Pepper Cloud is a plus.
    • Previous experience in customer service, call centre, live chat, or education‑related support roles will be advantageous.
    • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to handle enquiries independently.
    • Comfortable working remotely and coordinating with an overseas team.
    • Detail‑oriented with good organisational skills.
    Additional Information
    • Shift‑based role to ensure coverage between 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM (SGT).
