Position OverviewMCI is a leading Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company that specializes in delivering tailored solutions to meet the diverse needs of our clients. We are seeking agents to work as needed in response to disaster relief efforts. This is a temporary, remote position contingent on hurricane disaster relief needs. Candidates will be contacted via email and text on an as-needed basis.
Hours are from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM ET, with shifts from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM. To be considered, complete a full application on our careers page, including screening questions and a brief pre-employment test.
- Assist customers with service inquiries
- Learn common requests and solutions
- Improve customer experience during a difficult time
- Utilize our service techniques and systems
- Escalate dissatisfaction to proper channels

- Must be 18+ years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Typing speed of 20+ WPM
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows OS
- Reliable with good attendance and punctuality
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues
- Conflict resolution, problem solving, negotiation skills
- Customer service orientation (empathetic, patient)
- Ability to multi-task and self-manage
- Team-oriented and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills

Physical and Employment ConditionsThis is a largely sedentary role requiring long periods of sitting and computer use.
