Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Remote Ticketing & Travel Support Agent to join our team in the dynamic airline industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with flight bookings, ticket modifications, travel inquiries, and providing outstanding customer service. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while supporting travelers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Process flight bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling requests.
- Assist customers with ticket pricing, fare rules, and travel policies.
- Provide support for travel-related inquiries, including baggage policies and check-in procedures.
- Address customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with airline partners to ensure seamless travel experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Stay updated on airline policies, travel restrictions, and industry trends.
- Offer travel recommendations and upsell additional services such as insurance and lounge access.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in travel, tourism, or hospitality is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in airline reservations, travel agencies, or customer service roles.
- Strong knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or similar).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in CRM software, email, and live chat tools.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Multilingual skills are an advantage.
- 1-2 years of experience in airline ticketing, customer service, or travel support roles.
- Familiarity with airline ticketing platforms and travel regulations.
- Flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on airline schedules.
