Schedule:

Full time (~37 hours/week). Weekdays: 8:45–5:00pm ET or 11:00–7:00pm ET. Weekend: 8:45–5:00pm ET. Start dates:
February 23, March 9.

WHO WE ARE

At American Meadows (AMC), our purpose is Doing Good Through Gardening. Customer service connects the company with customers, supporting them from purchasing to planting and maintenance. We assist with shipping issues, quality concerns, and brand guarantees.

OUR CHALLENGE

Spring is busy, with customers planning gardens and awaiting plant orders. The customer service team supports customers through selection, advice, order tracking, and issue resolution. High volume and fast pace reward problem‑solving and confidence.

WHO YOU ARE & WHAT YOU DO

You will help gardeners through every stage of their journey. Tasks include answering gardening questions, navigating the website and internal systems to place orders, track shipments, and resolve issues. Seasonal focus is fast‑paced and rewarding for problem‑solvers.

  • Enjoy talking with customers and solving problems
  • Have an interest in gardening, plants, or the natural world
  • Are curious and motivated to learn throughout the season
  • Can stay organized and positive during high‑volume, fast‑paced days
  • Feel comfortable using multiple websites and systems at once
  • Take pride in helping customers feel heard and supported
BEFORE YOU APPLY

Training runs 10:00 am–4:00 pm ET. New staff start on the phone team, with potential chat/email training. All calls are recorded for quality. Overtime may be available during April and May. Seasonal staff must be available for the whole season.

The company provides computer, mouse, keyboard, headset, and camera; equipment must be returned. You need a private, quiet workspace with secure high‑speed internet. Local candidates in Shelburne, VT may need to pick up and return equipment in person.
