Overview

Call Centre Collections Agent – Ardent Credit Services Ltd. Join us in our Kirkby, Knowsley contact centre. We are a multi award winning debt recovery and credit management services provider operating in both the consumer and commercial sectors. We work on behalf of some of the world’s largest creditors and offer a friendly working environment.

Salary: £26,250 - £30,385 per annum plus non-contractual bonus.

• On a day-to-day basis you will communicate with customers through incoming and outgoing telephone calls.
• Support customers to pay off their debts in a practical and affordable way.
• Aim to understand customers’ individual circumstances by asking questions to ensure the customer’s best interests are met.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of vulnerable customers and how to identify them
• Understanding of FCA guidelines
• Good telephone manner
• Strong listening skills with the ability to confidently articulate the best outcome for the customer on the spot
• Good IT skills, with knowledge of Excel

Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm. There may be a future shift pattern change to an alternating 2-week pattern (8am-4pm and 10am-7pm) with 1 Saturday every 4 weeks (9am-2pm).

Holidays start at 21 days (rising to 25 days) plus 8 bank holidays.

Hybrid working pattern allowing balance with office and home work. Reviews after 6 months of employment; further information to be discussed at interview.
