Sales Representative – Classic & Muscle Car Parts

Overview

Kanter Auto is a family-owned business that has been a cornerstone of the antique and classic car hobby for over 60 years. We specialize in hard-to-find parts for American classic and muscle cars, providing engine, brake, suspension, and other components to restoration shops, hobbyists, and collectors around the world. We re under new ownership and have been undergoing significant modernization efforts and changes over the past two years.

• Assist customers via phone, email, and online systems with parts identification and orders
• Help enthusiasts and professionals find the correct parts for classic and muscle cars
• Navigate web-based order management, CRM, and product databases
• Provide a high level of customer service with a solutions-focused mindset
• Be part of an evolving team focused on improving systems, processes, and customer experience

• Familiarity with parts for American classic and muscle cars (1930s–1980s)
• Typing speed of 60+ WPM
• Strong computer skills – comfortable navigating web-based tools like order management systems, CRMs, or product databases without needing step-by-step instructions
• Friendly, helpful, customer-first attitude

• Prior experience in automotive parts sales or customer service
• Experience using Shopify, CRM platforms, or inventory tools

Our office is located in Boonton, NJ, but remote positions are available for non-local candidates with the right experience and skills.
