Position: Southern Africa Expert - Luxury Travel Consultant | FULLY REMOTE
Location: Town of Poland

We are expanding our Southern Africa division and seeking highly experienced Luxury Travel Consultants to join our high-performance team. This role is ideal for individuals who have worked in luxury safari travel or B2C tailor-made travel, with a deep understanding of Southern Africa's destinations, products and travel logistics.

Success in this role is measured through conversions, commercial impact, customer satisfaction, and the ability to craft exceptional bespoke itineraries
- not simply handling enquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convert qualified enquiries into high-value bookings and repeat business.
  • Design and deliver well-structured, personalized itineries accross Southern Africa.
  • Build trust quickly with international clients through high EQ, professionalism, and cultural awareness.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of regional lodge products, travel logistics, and seasonal dynamics.
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail across all proposals, CRM updates, and client communications.
  • Manage your sales pipeline independently while maintaining consistency with team processes.
  • Uphold ASG’s commitment to exceptional service, conservation values, and responsible travel.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, management, and support teams to ensure alignment and seamless customer experience
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in luxury travel, safari sales, or bespoke travel planning.
  • Strong, proven knowledge of Southern Africa destinations and lodge products, including:
Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, Mozambique, Eswatini & Lesotho.
  • Proven conversion results and revenue-generating capabilities.
  • Experience using Wetu, Tourplan, or similar CRM/itinerary systems.
  • Tertiary qualification in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or Marketing is beneficial.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional languages (German, Italian, Spanish, French, Dutch) are an advantage.
  • Commercially minded with strong understanding of sales margins, conversion metrics, and profitability.
  • High EQ: able to read clients, understand motivations, and build instant trust with a global audience.
  • Culturally aware with the ability to navigate diverse personalities and communication styles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational ability.
  • Independent, proactive and self-driven, comfortable working remotely.
  • Calm under pressure, solutions-oriented, and adaptable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passionate about Africa, conservation, sustainability, and creating meaningful travel experiences.
What We Offer
  • A competitive remuneration structure aligned with performance.
  • Opportunity to work with one of Africa’s leading luxury safari brands.
  • World-class training, resources, and operational support.
  • A high-performance culture with career growth opportunities.
  • A chance to positively impact conservation and community initiatives across Southern Africa.
Who Should Apply?

This role is for you if:

  • You thrive in a sales-driven, high-performance environment.
  • You excel at crafting premium safari itineraries with precision and creativity.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of Southern Africa travel and luxury safari products.
  • You understand that success is measured by conversions, client satisfaction, and commercial outcomes.
  • You can work independently while maintaining consistency with a broader team.
