- Assisting Alliant Energy customers with service-related questions, billing inquiries, and resolving power outage issues. This may sometimes require de‑escalating certain issues with customers in a professional manner.
- Providing exceptional, friendly support over the phone—no sales required.
- Navigating multiple systems while speaking with customers.
- Collaborating with your teammates to ensure every customer gets the help they need.
- Thriving in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment where every day brings new challenges and rewards.
The Ideal Candidate for This Role
- Has at least 2 years of experience in customer service and is ready to apply their skills in a new and exciting way.
- Thrives in a home work setting with a stable work history, and is passionate about providing outstanding service.
- Holds a high school diploma or GED and is authorized to work in the United States.
- Can be flexible for occasional mandatory overtime, especially during outages—because our customers count on us when it matters most.
