Details

Job Title: Member Services Representative / Benefits Customer Service

Location: Must live in Oklahoma, 100% remote

Pay Rate: $22.99/hr on W2

Duration: 2‑month contract with possible extension

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (CST)

Requirements: Must list at top of resume:

  • Internet speed test: minimum 25 Mbps upstream, 3 Mbps downstream
  • Hardwired Ethernet connection (yes/no)
  • Availability for all scheduled training (3‑week process, 8 am–5 pm CST, Monday‑Friday)
Responsibilities
  • Increase member and provider satisfaction, retention, and growth by delivering competitive services.
  • Serve as the client’s front‑line representative handling customer inquiries via phone, internet or written correspondence.
  • Assist members, prospective members and providers with questions about benefits, pharmacy services, provider listings, etc. in a high‑volume, fast‑paced call center.
  • Qualify and resolve issues, triage to appropriate staff, and maintain data integrity in the target system.
  • Educate members about their plans, benefits, self‑service tools, and rights and responsibilities.
  • Process claims, referrals, pre‑authorizations, appeals, and grievance reports.
  • Perform medical necessity determinations, coverage verification, and benefit maximum tracking.
  • Prepare documentation, letters, spreadsheets, trend reports, and audit data for claims.
  • Assist providers with credentialing and re‑credentialing issues.
  • Respond to legal and regulatory inquiries from the Healthcare Law Document Center.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience in a transactional customer service environment (call center or retail) with empathy and compassion.
  • Experience in a production environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use system tools and resources to produce accurate documentation.
