• Evaluate situations and conduct thorough evaluations to process new business applications efficiently
• Identify and verify underwriting requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Utilize various systems and tools to support multiple underwriting areas, demonstrating proficiency in soft phone handling
• Apply critical thinking and problem‑solving techniques to analyze complex information and recommend process improvements
• Deliver exceptional customer service by providing appropriate product/process support and maintaining clear communication

• Strong customer service and call center skills with the ability to assess customer needs
• Ability to maintain regular attendance and adhere to department expectations in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, including email, data entry, and Microsoft products
• Excellent attention to detail with effective time management and organizational skills
• Must be located in the United States or Puerto Rico and able to work remotely

• Previous experience in insurance or underwriting
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Bilingual in Spanish
