Our Customer Support Consultants are the direct line between IDEXX and our customers. That is why they are so crucial to achieving our Purpose. This role is best suited to organized, passionate communicators who strive to help veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and animal healthcare diagnostic professionals keep our pets healthy.

Successful candidates will thrive in a fast‑paced environment where they navigate a variety of inquiries to provide a solution to each customer every 5 minutes on average (50‑70 calls daily). Ability to multitask is essential as consultants resolve customer inquiries through various methods of communication and use documentation & programs to ensure a solution while the customer is on the call.

Our Customer Support Consultants work from home full‑time and will continue to remain virtual, with onboarding, training, and support delivered remotely.

In The Role Of Reference Laboratory Customer Support Consultant
  • Act as the liaison between customers and the IDEXX laboratories.
  • Answer customer questions and quickly & effectively resolve issues.
  • Provide and clarify lab test results, coordinate follow‑up tests on samples, and help coordinate pickup & delivery of samples.

  • Fluent in both French and English. blitz
  • Highly motivated, goal‑oriented, strong collaborator.
  • Proven track record of exceptional customer service.
  • Experience in a technical field, veterinary practice, laboratory setting, or contact center is helpful.
  • Strong computer and technical skills.
  • Master problem solver with fine attention to detail and strong organizational skills in a multitasking environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply skills to a variety of customer interactions.
  • Superb listening and communication (verbal & written) skills; strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport quickly.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a computer‑related discipline or a scientific (Biology/Chemistry, etc.) discipline preferred, Flux equivalent combination of education & experience общего
  • Ability to be on the call for 8 hours a day in a quiet workspace or office.
  • When working from your virtual office, be available by phone, voicemail, email, and Microsoft Teams during scheduled business hours. Maintain a high‑speed hardwired internet (minimum 15 Mbps download经营 3 Mbps upload). Laptop, docking station, monitor(s), and headset supplied and must be maintained appropriately.
Schedule
  • Role requires schedule flexibility: work 8.5 hours between 11:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. EST Monday‑Friday and Saturdays (9 a.m.–5:30 p.m. EST) on a rotating basis.
  • Reliable and dependable attendance is essential.
