Rare Carat is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Specialist who is eager to join our remote team. This role is ideal for someone with experience handling B2C (business-to-consumer) shipping operations for an online brand, who thrives in a fast-paced, logistics-focused environment and understand top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage outbound shipments to individual customers across the U.S. and internationally
- Create shipping labels, prepare documentation, and ensure packages are sent out on time
- Monitor tracking and proactively resolve delivery issues or delays
- Coordinate shipping schedules based on volume, priority, and customer expectations
- Communicate with customer support and internal teams to align shipping with order timelines
- Identify and suggest ways to improve processes
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience handling B2C shipping for an e-commerce or online retail brand
- Knowledge of common shipping workflows, customer expectations, and delivery timelines
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fully remote setup
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Tech-savvy, with the ability to learn and navigate shipping software or platforms
- Consistent internet connection and a dedicated home workspace
- Experience shipping high-volume or high-value consumer goods
- Background in logistics for luxury goods, jewelry, or specialty products
Location, Hours + equipment needed
- 100% remote, work from home - you can work from anywhere in the world as long as you have a strong internet connection!
- Multiple Full-time positions available. Hours and days of the week will vary based on the needs of the team at time of hire - some shifts may end past midnight or will be overnight hours. All schedules are fixed and will not change on a week to week basis.
