Job Description
- Welcoming guests:
Greeting visitors and providing a hospitable welcome - Handling inquiries:
Answering phone calls, responding to customer inquiries, and directing messages in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner - Resolving issues:
Assisting customers in a branded, friendly, proactive, and efficient manner with appropriate follow-up as necessary - Team collaboration:
Work hand-in-hand with the ISS Advisors in achieving the department’s strategic priorities, goals & objectives for student success - Administrative support:
Assisting with student record imaging and maintenance
Qualifications
- Experience in (or strong interest in) office administrative support, student services work, and customer service relations
- Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, experience working independently and collaboratively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as computer usage and emailing skills
- Possess analytical skills, team player traits, and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment under high-level and minimal supervision
- Ability to work with and maintain academic records, including interpreting information, handling with confidentiality, and securing the review and storage
