Position: Customer Experience (CX) Representative - Intermountain Region

Customer Experience (CX) Representative - Intermountain Region

Airgas is hiring a Customer Experience (CX) Representative to support collection efforts and deliver exceptional customer service from our Tulsa office.

Responsibilities
  • Contact customers regarding invoices/accounts that are past due and provide information requested to facilitate a quick remittance.
  • Identify account risks, potential credit problems, and disputes and work to resolve them from beginning to end.
  • Prioritize a portfolio so collection efforts result in maximum benefits and watch for key indicators when an account is falling behind.
  • Document conversations, e‑mails, and other communications and organize documentation to facilitate follow-up efforts.
  • Maintain quality relationships with branch managers, account managers, district managers, and AVPs and keep them informed of issues at all times.
  • Escalate significant matters to Accounts Receivable Supervisor and collaborate with regional collections managers when possible.
  • Utilize customer service skills at all times to ensure collections efforts do not impair customer relationships.
  • Support general collection discipline including cash apps, data integrity, account set‑up, credit, and disputes.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Understanding of quality customer service and the relationship to collection efforts.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and see collections as a financially oriented customer‑service function.
  • Strong client‑service mindset and ability to use collaborative, non‑adversarial approaches to achieve goals.
  • Problem‑solving skills and the ability to research solutions quickly.
  • Experience in prior collection roles is a plus; some commercial collection experience is preferred.
  • Basic SAP and/or ERP system experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel are a plus.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required.
