Associate Creative Director, Design – Homesense

We’re looking for an Associate Creative Director of Design to help bring this vision to life with an elevated aesthetic, original thinking, and flawless execution. Someone who thinks strategically and conceptually and can shape ideas to create work that is bold, engaging and unmistakably Homesense!
Who We Are Looking For: You.
Areas of Responsibility- Partner with copy, design, and creative leadership to concept and complete original, brand-aligned ideas
- Lead and mentor designers, ensuring outstanding craft and consistent quality
- Uphold and evolve the visual identity across all channels; maintain current guidelines
- Partner with the Creative Director to plan and complete photo shoots, art directing photographers and stylists for high quality, elevated images and video content
- Ensure the team thrives in a fast-paced workflow while staying flexible, nimble, and positive
- Collaborate with brand partners, project management, and content producers to deliver high performing on brand content

- Supervise content creation at a rapid pace across social, print, in store, email, video and OOH
- Manage daily workflow and partner with project management to assign and prioritize requests across channels
- Evaluate and guide daily creative thinking to ensure the brand evolves appropriately
- Review and shape creative work, brainstorm solutions, and provide strategic, actionable feedback
- Foster an open, inclusive environment where diverse ideas are encouraged
- Promote strong collaboration and flexible teamwork
- Mentor junior talent
- Oversee designers, developing talent through targeted mentoring and one on one coaching
- Lead by example, using strong hands on design skills to provide fresh creative direction and support
- Think ahead and act as a creative project manager on long term initiatives—defining scope, requirements, timelines, priorities, and resources
- With the Creative Director, foster an environment where the team feels valued, engaged and energized to be a part of TJX Marketing Team
- 8+ years design experience with 2+ years of management experience
- An outstanding online portfolio of your work (this one’s non-negotiable) –
please make sure to include the link to your portfolio in your application/on your resume - Expert in Adobe Suite, experience with Figma a plus
- Strong design skills, including typography & color theory
- Photo shoot experience
- Experience and a passion for building brands
- Strategic, conceptual thinking with clear and simple communication
- Passion for great design, singularly creative campaigns and brand building
- Ability to connect creative ideas to brand and business goals
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills
- Well versed in crafting outstanding work for social and video channels
- Creative problem solver with an entrepreneurial spirit, motivated by the possibilities that come with a growing challenger brand.
This position is hybrid requiring at least two days per week in the Framingham, MA office and is not open to remote.
