We produce audio books, educational content, digital stories, and multimedia experiences designed to empower young creators and expand access to meaningful storytelling.
We’re seeking a motivated, curious, and creative Audiobook & Multimedia Production Intern to join our publishing and production teams. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in audiobook creation, voiceover direction, sound design, multimedia packaging, and cross‑platform digital publishing
.
If you’re passionate about audio storytelling, digital media, and creative production, this internship gives you the tools, mentorship, and real‑world experience to grow.
- Learn the full lifecycle of audiobook creation — from manuscript preparation to voice casting, narration, editing, mastering, and platform upload.
- Support production workflows for educational content, youth‑centered stories, and creative publications.
- Assist with script formatting for narration and voiceover.
- Help coordinate remote or in‑studio recording sessions.
- Support direction of voice talent and contribute to creative decisions that shape tone, pacing, and delivery.
- Help integrate audio with visual elements for educational modules, promotional content, and digital storytelling projects.
- Collaborate with design and editorial teams to create cohesive multimedia experiences.
- Assist in preparing and publishing final audio works to platforms such as:
- Audible
- Spotify
- You Tube
- Amazon Music
- Zoo Media’s proprietary channels
- Learn metadata standards, platform requirements, and best practices for discoverability.
- Gain hands‑on experience editing, cleaning, and mastering audio using tools such as:
- Audacity
- Adobe Audition
- Descript
- Garage Band
- Support quality checks to ensure professional‑grade sound.
- Work with the publishing team to manage audio rights, permissions, and licensing documentation.
- Learn how copyright applies to digital and audio publishing.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to develop promotional campaigns for audiobook listeners, educators, and youth creators.
- Assist with social media content, email campaigns, and platform‑specific promotions.

- Availability for team meetings:
Mondays @ 9:00 AM MST

Skill Bridge participants also meet Thursdays @ 9:00 AM MST - Studying or experienced in Media Production, Audio Engineering, Digital Media, Journalism, Film, Creative Writing
, or a related field. - Strong interest in storytelling, audio production, or digital publishing.
- Familiarity with audio editing tools (Audacity, Adobe Audition, Garage Band, Descript) is a plus.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies and workflows.
- Hands‑on training in audiobook and multimedia production.
- Experience with professional audio tools and publishing workflows.
- Mentorship from experienced producers, editors, and publishing professionals.
- Credit as a production assistant or co‑producer on select projects.
- Career preparation for roles in audio publishing, media production, digital storytelling, or creative content development
