Internship Visual Communication and UI Designer

** Task
* * Join our team at Deutsche Telekom, one of the world’s largest Telco companies, serving over 245 million mobile customers and leading digital innovation across Europe. You will work at the core of an internal platform that has digitized and automated Design Thinking to accelerate product innovation across many teams in this global organization, delivering real impact.

To boost this growth, we are looking for Visual UI Designers with strong skills in illustration and graphic design who can bring fresh energy to the team. You will also support the team in exploring how AI can simplify visual storytelling in product innovation. This includes generating illustrations and experimenting with concept videos based on real content.

This is a unique opportunity to grow your design skills, apply AI in creative ways, and contribute to how innovation is communicated inside a global tech leader.
** Requirements*
* * You must have a valid EU work permit
* You must be currently enrolled in a design-related degree program
* Graduates are not eligible
* You must show your design portfolio that shows the best visuals, UX, and AI-driven work
* You must be applying for either a mandatory or voluntary internship as part of your studies
* You must be working in Germany during the internship.
* You must be able to work on-site in Bonn, Berlin, or Darmstadt when required
** Must-Have Skills*
* * You are skilled in creating illustrations for user scenarios or UI screens
* Highly skilled in using AI tools to create visual or video content such as Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Sora, or Kling
* You are proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite (After Effect, Premier), Figma, and Miro to visualize content professionally
* You are a critical thinker who can follow instructions with structure and clarity
* You are a proactive co-creator who enjoys working with end-users to improve design outcomes
* You are a passionate UI designer with a strong sense for storytelling through visuals
* Ability to work independently and follow visual direction precisely
* You have professional working proficiency in English, including speaking, listening, and writing
* Proficiency in German is a plus but not required
