Remote Digital Image Annotator; Freelance, Project

We are hiring a detail-focused freelance contractor to carry out precise digital tracing work on high-resolution images.

This role is structured and accuracy-driven. It is not creative design work. It requires clean line control, strong visual consistency, and the ability to follow clear guidelines exactly.

Full training is provided.

• Freelance / self-employed contractor role
• Project-based assignments
• Work released in batches (typically ~30 hours per batch)
• Each batch comes with a 1-week deadline
• Flexible scheduling within that week
• Ongoing work available for reliable, high-quality performers
• No guarantee of fixed weekly hours

Meeting deadlines consistently is essential.

• Precisely trace shapes and boundaries on digital images
• Follow detailed annotation guidelines
• Maintain consistent quality across large batches
• Submit work within agreed deadlines
• Implement feedback where required

Strong fit for individuals with experience in:

• Graphic design
• Fine art
• CAD / technical drawing
• Animation or VFX assistance
• Image labelling / AI data annotation

No medical background required.

• Exceptional attention to detail
• Able to follow instructions precisely
• Reliable and deadline-oriented

• Compensation is task-based, equivalent to approximately £14–£18 per hour
• Final rate is dependent on quality of work and adherence to deadlines.
• Strong performance, high accuracy, and consistent efficiency may lead to increased rates over time.
