Role Purpose and

Key Responsibilities

As an E‑Learning Specialist, you will design, develop and maintain world‑class digital learning that supports the professional development of RICS members. You will collaborate closely with Instructional Designers, Product Leads and subject matter experts to translate complex technical content into engaging, interactive and accessible digital learning experiences.

This role combines creativity, technical expertise and strong project delivery skills in a fast‑paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design learner‑centred digital learning using adult learning theory and instructional design models.
  • Create learning assets including e‑learning modules, microlearning, videos, animations, assessments and interactive activities.
  • Work with Product Leads, Instructional Designers and SMEs to turn content into impactful digital experiences.
  • Upload, test, troubleshoot and publish learning on our Moodle‑based LMS.
  • Apply accessibility standards (UDL, WCAG) to ensure inclusive and compliant learning products.
  • Ensure high‑quality user experience, navigation and visual design across all digital learning.
  • Monitor learner engagement and feedback to continuously improve learning products.
  • Manage multiple e‑learning projects and deliver to agreed timelines and standards.
  • Stay informed on digital learning trends, tools, technology and AI‑enabled design.
About You

You are a skilled e‑learning specialist with a passion for digital learning design and strong technical capability. You combine creativity with structure, enjoy problem‑solving and take pride in producing high‑quality, interactive digital content. You work well with SMEs, design colleagues and global stakeholders to bring learning to life.

Skills & Experience
  • Experience designing and delivering e‑learning or digital professional development products.
  • Proficiency with authoring tools and creative software, especially Articulate Rise, Storyline 360 and Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, InDesign).
  • Strong visual design ability and experience producing multimedia content (graphics, video, animation).
  • Experience working with Moodle‑based LMS platforms and learning technologies.
  • Strong writing, editing and communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively and solve problems creatively.
  • Experience collaborating with SMEs and Instructional Designers to develop content.
  • Culturally aware and able to work effectively with global teams.
