Position OverviewHHL Advertising is seeking a Creative Producer with a strong background in writing and producing retail television commercials
.
This role is responsible for developing creative concepts and producing high-impact television and video advertising campaigns for retail clients across the United States. The Creative Producer works closely with the Creative Director and production team throughout every stage of the commercial production process — from concept development and scriptwriting through production, post-production, and final delivery.
In addition to broadcast television, this role contributes to multi-channel campaigns including OTT/CTV, digital video, social media, and print advertising

- Develop creative concepts and write compelling scripts for retail television commercials and video campaigns
- Produce and manage commercial productions from concept through final delivery
- Collaborate with Creative Directors, editors, designers, and production staff to execute high-quality creative work
- Work directly with clients to understand promotional strategies and translate them into effective advertising messaging
- Manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
- Coordinate production logistics including casting, voiceover talent, editing, graphics, and final asset delivery
- Ensure all creative assets are delivered on brand, on strategy, and on deadline
- Adapt creative across multiple channels including TV, OTT/CTV, digital video, social media, and print
Build strong working relationships with clients while guiding them through the scripting, production, and approval process.
CreateDevelop creative messaging and advertising copy for television, digital, social, and print campaigns. Lead projects from concept through final execution.
CollaborateWork closely with HHL’s creative, video production, digital, and design teams to bring campaigns to life.
ProduceCoordinate internal teams and external vendors including voice talent, editors, and production partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and at a high level of quality.
The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a strong writer, creative thinker, and hands‑on producer who understands retail advertising and thrives in a deadline-driven agency environment.
This role requires someone who can balance creativity with production efficiency while managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Qualifications- Minimum 3 years of experience in advertising copywriting and production
- Experience writing and producing television commercials
- Ability to manage high-volume production with firm deadlines
- Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
- Strong creative writing and conceptual thinking ability
- Detail‑oriented with strong time management skills
- Familiarity with the commercial production process
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Mac platforms
Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000 (based on experience)
