Video Editor; Kdenlive - Remote

We are hiring for one of our clients seeking an experienced Professional Video Editor with strong expertise in Kdenlive to produce polished, high-quality video content across multiple formats.

This role is ideal for editors who are comfortable managing complex, multi-layered projects and delivering broadcast-ready outputs with strong visual and audio finishing standards.

Compensation varies based on experience level and project complexity.

You will transform raw footage into refined, production-quality videos using advanced non-linear editing workflows in Kdenlive. The position requires technical precision, creative judgment, and the ability to manage full post-production pipelines independently.

• Edit and deliver high-quality video projects using Kdenlive
• Structure and manage complex multi-track timelines
• Implement proxy editing workflows for high-resolution footage
• Apply professional color correction and grading
• Perform detailed audio editing, mixing, and synchronization
• Optimize export settings for TV, streaming, and digital platforms
• Organize and archive projects for future scalability and revisions
• Collaborate effectively with remote creative teams

• Demonstrated expertise in Kdenlive (advanced features and workflows)
• Strong understanding of non-linear editing principles
• Experience with proxy workflows and multi-track compositing
• Proficiency in color grading and audio post-production
• Ability to manage projects from raw footage through final delivery
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

• Experience producing broadcast-quality content
• Background in motion graphics or creative direction
• Familiarity with additional open-source or industry-standard editing tools
• Experience exporting for multiple distribution platforms (TV, streaming, social media)

• Technically strong and creatively refined
• Highly organized with clean project structuring practices
• Comfortable working with large footage volumes
• Up-to-date with evolving editing techniques and tools
