We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Photographer III to join our team. This role requires expertise in selecting and utilizing a range of standard photographic equipment to capture exact renditions, often without the opportunity for retakes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, artistic ability, and the capacity to work independently on various photographic and video projects supporting diverse customer needs.

• Select from a range of standard photographic equipment for assignments demanding precise renditions, often without opportunity for later retakes.
• Address specific problems or uncertainties concerning lighting, exposure time, color, and artistry by discussing technical requirements with operating officials or supervisors.
• Customize photographic treatment for each situation according to detailed requests.
• Vary camera processes and techniques, utilizing settings and backgrounds to produce both aesthetically pleasing and accurate, informative pictures.
• Edit or produce video productions, working independently on PSAs, commercials, and other video projects.
• Utilize both standard equipment and, under close supervision, special-purpose equipment to create specialized photography.
• Perform video duplication, photo scanning, and file transfers as needed.
• Photograph and video fixed or moving objects on the ground.
• Provide video and photo documentation and editing of final products for customer events and situations, including but not limited to:
  • Employees photographed for identification purposes
  • Award ceremonies, interviews, banquets, or meetings
  • External views of machinery, supplies, equipment, buildings, and damaged shipments
  • Other scenarios requiring visual imagery

• Proven experience with a variety of photographic equipment and techniques.
• Strong understanding of lighting, exposure, color correction, and artistic composition.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Experience in video editing and production, including PSAs and commercials.
• Familiarity with photo scanning, video duplication, and digital file management.
• Excellent communication skills to discuss technical requirements and customize photographic treatments.
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality visual content under tight deadlines.

This position is based in Air Force Academy, CO. The role involves working closely with Federal, DoD, and Private Sector customers, requiring professionalism and adaptability in various settings.
