Position SummaryDiverse Concepts is seeking a Graphic Designer to support creative initiatives for our dynamic portfolio of hospitality, restaurant, and entertainment brands. We are considering both full‑time and part‑time candidates. This role is based at our Knoxville office, with one to two days per week on‑site at The Island in Pigeon Forge to collaborate directly with property leadership, capture content, and ensure brand accuracy across all visual materials.
Success in this position requires a deep creative foundation, strong artistic instincts, and the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual solutions. The ideal candidate is versatile, detail‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment with multiple brands and ongoing projects. This designer must also embrace AI‑assisted creative tools, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance workflow and elevate output.
Our Brands & ConceptsOur team supports 36 total locations across multiple states, offering designers the opportunity to create for nationally recognized brands as well as locally loved concepts, including:
- The Island in Pigeon Forge
- Mellow Mushroom
- Design and produce print and digital materials for all locations, including brochures, logos, print ads, digital ads, profile sheets, point‑of‑sale materials, property maps, billboards, and special event promotional assets.
- Deliver exceptional visual content across print, digital, and on‑property platforms, including design, layout, photo editing, and the creation of video menus, marquee signage, and special event videos.
- Ensure all creative output aligns with each concept’s brand standards and visual identity.
- Leverage AI‑powered design tools, content generators, and automation platforms to improve efficiency and expand creative possibilities.
- Manage multiple simultaneous projects from assignment through final delivery.
- Work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Collaborate with Diverse Concepts leadership, The Island’s marketing team, and external partners to gather information and deliver accurate, on‑brand creative solutions.
- Maintain organized file structures, asset libraries, and version control for all creative materials.
- Coordinate with print vendors, billboard companies, and signage partners to ensure accurate production and delivery.
- Adopt new technologies and workflows that streamline project execution and support continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Diverse Concepts and The Island’s Marketing Teams to support property‑wide campaigns and initiatives.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and drive creative ideas.
- Assist with on‑property photography and content capture during on‑site days.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues across both organizations.
- Stay current with design trends, AI advancements, and emerging creative tools to keep Diverse Concepts visual presence fresh and competitive.
- Interest in developing skills in Adobe After Effects.
- Strong internal drive for high‑quality design and continuous improvement.
- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to take direction.
- Strong verbal communication skills; dependable, detail‑oriented, and well‑organized.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Comfort and curiosity with AI‑driven creative tools, automation, and new technology platforms.
- Strong knowledge of image sizes, aspect ratios, and resolution requirements across social media, websites, mobile devices, and other digital environments.
- Familiarity with accessibility best practices for digital design (preferred).
- Understanding of social media creative trends and platform‑specific design best practices.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field.
- Professional graphic design experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of print production procedures, timelines, and printing terminology.
