Orlando Informer is a theme-park vacation-planning company founded in 2011. Every year, we help millions of people plan a better vacation to Orlando’s biggest destinations with trusted guides, insider tips, savings, and advice. In addition to providing discounted theme park tickets and hotel bookings, we host the Orlando Informer Meetup, exclusive after-hours events featuring shorter waits, unlimited food, and unique entertainment.

We are seeking a contract video editor to produce and edit You Tube videos in a clearly defined, established style. This role is execution focused. You will take the provided footage, scripts, and references and turn them into polished, engaging videos that closely match an existing You Tube content creator in pacing, tone, structure, and visual language.

The ideal candidate has strong technical editing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to replicate a style. You should be comfortable working from detailed notes, references, and feedback, and delivering consistent results on deadline.

Orlando Informer is a small, nimble, and remote-first company, and this contract role will work closely with our internal team to support ongoing video production needs.

• Edit long-form and short-form You Tube videos to match a specific, established Orlando Informer creator's style
• Replicate pacing, music usage, graphics, sound design, and overall storytelling approach based on provided examples
• Assemble raw footage, screen recordings, voiceover, music, and graphics into finished videos
• Add text overlays, basic motion graphics, b-roll, sound effects, and visual polish where appropriate
• Ensure videos meet platform best practices for You Tube, including pacing, clarity, and viewer retention
• Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently and accurately
  
  Organize project files and exports according to internal standards
• Meet agreed-upon deadlines and production schedules
• Other video-related duties

• This is a remote, contract position
• Proven experience editing You Tube videos, with samples that demonstrate consistency and strong storytelling
• Ability to closely match an existing editing style and follow detailed creative direction
• Strong proficiency with professional editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Comfort working with shared assets, brand guidelines, and reference videos
• Excellent attention to detail, including timing, audio levels, text accuracy, and visual consistency
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness in a remote work environment
• Interest in or familiarity with theme parks, travel, or You Tube content is required

Compensation: $250/per long-form video
