Graphic Designer

Job Summary

Perfection Learning is looking for a passionate and creative Graphic Designer to join the corporate marketing team. Under the direction of the Director of Creative Services, you will support corporate and product marketing efforts with the development of digital and print creative assets. You are resourceful, innovative, and meticulous with excellent design chops.

• Gathers information and materials needed from designated individuals to accomplish tasks.
• Becomes familiar with brand guidelines, images, components and overall brand identity.
• Works within existing brand guidelines and designs to version out print collateral, e-mails, and digital assets for our website and social media channels.
• Works within existing PowerPoint templates to create beautiful and legible presentations for our sales department.
• Critically think about copy and proofread to ensure accurate and high-quality work.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on company and customer demands.
• Experience with proofing and project management tools.
• Maintains technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications and staying up to date on marketing and design trends, etc.
• Has the ability to learn new software, if needed, to accomplish projects.
• Works well as part of a collaborative team.
• Assist in designing corporate communications, presentations, product packaging, sales flyers and promotional elements.
• Multimedia design work a plus (web, videos, etc).
• Experience using AI in design desirable.
• Some examples of the types of projects you will be working on include:
  Catalogs, flyers, brochures, pacing guides, digital showcases, website graphics, digital advertising, conference banners and signage and more.

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience.
• Collaborative work is essential with all levels of the organization.
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Word.
• Experience with project management tools like Wrike, Monday, Trello, Basecamp.
• Strong typography skills.
• Strong photography and photo editing skills.
• Work from our Clive, IA office Tuesday through Thursday. Work from home on Mondays and Fridays permitted.

• Target Salary- $47-54K depending on experience plus benefits.

• Repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
• Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
