Position: Unity 3D Designer/Technical Artist (Remote)

Role Overview

You are a 3D/Unity Technical Artist who thrives on crafting visuals that don’t just look good, they feel alive. You bring environments, objects, and effects to life with 3D, shaders, VFX, and animation. You understand how to merge technical constraints with artistic vision, ensuring each scene communicates mood, story, and interactivity. Bonus if you can extend your artistry into UI design, building interfaces that feel like part of the world rather than overlays on top of it.

What

You’ll Do
  • Create immersive 3D assets, environments, and animations for Unity-driven experiences.
  • Collaborate with developers to integrate visuals, shaders, and VFX into interactive systems.
  • Use real-time particle effects, lighting, and materials that heighten immersion.
  • Support the creation of UI elements that seamlessly integrate into immersive worlds.
What You Bring
  • Strong portfolio showcasing 3D modeling, animation, and immersive brand activations.
  • Mastery in Blender (modeling, texturing, rigging, animation) and Unity (scene building, shaders, VFX graph, materials).
  • Eye for detail, from the subtle glow of a shader to the weight of an animated object.
  • Understanding of immersive storytelling and how visuals guide interaction.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with developers, designers, and creative technologists.
Bonus Skills
  • Basic motion graphics skills with After Effects.
  • UI/UX sensibilities for designing interactive menus or HUDs for immersive experiences with Illustrator.
