Short Description

We are seeking detail-oriented Video Editors for long-term contractor roles within an AI-based company. This role focuses on editing and assembling short-form and promotional video content (especially for social media), with an emphasis on high-quality marketing assets. Experience creating content for Reels/Tik Toks is highly preferred. Strong video editing skills using Cap Cut (and basic graphic work in Photoshop, such as overlays, text, or thumbnails) are a great fit.

The ideal candidate is creative, reliable, punctual, and has a strong eye for detail. Experience in retail, beauty, fashion, or marketing content is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble high-quality video content for social media (Reels, Tik Toks, stories, short-form promos)
• Add text, simple motion, transitions, and basic sound/music to create engaging, on-brand videos
• Repurpose existing footage into new cuts and formats for different platforms and campaigns
• When needed, perform light photo/graphic work (e.g., thumbnails, overlays, simple assets) to support video content
• Review, refine, and quality-check videos before delivery
• Collaborate with the team to produce performance-focused marketing content for retail, beauty, fashion, and related industries
• Consistently deliver work on time while maintaining high quality standards

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in video editing or content production
• Proficiency in Cap Cut (or similar short-form editing tools) is a must
• Basic to intermediate Photoshop skills for simple graphics, overlays, or thumbnails
• Knowledge of Canva, Illustrator, or Lightroom is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, pacing, and visual storytelling
• Solid work ethic and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating and/or editing Reels and Tik Toks (filming is a plus)
• Background in retail, beauty, fashion, or e-commerce marketing content
• Familiarity with optimizing videos for different platforms (formats, hooks, captions, lengths)
