Job Description & How to Apply Below
We’re looking for a Motion Graphic Designer who lives inside Adobe After Effects.
About the RoleYou’ll be working primarily on long-form and short-form video content, with a strong focus on polished, corporate, brand-strict animation, balanced with room for thoughtful creative experimentation.
This is a 100% remote, work-from-home role.
What You’ll Be Doing- Sourcing suitable static visual assets from our vector library and adapting them to match our brand style and colour palette
- Modifying and refining static designs in Illustrator and Photoshop before animation
- Translating approved static visuals into clear, polished animations using After Effects
- Designing and animating high-quality motion graphics for e-learning and brand content
- Creating a sense of depth and spatial hierarchy using After Effects’ 3D layers, cameras, and lighting (2.5D workflows)
- Applying lights, shadows, parallax, and perspective to enhance clarity and visual focus
- Interpreting scripts and scene descriptions and translating them into engaging, structured visual sequences
- Applying strong principles of colour theory, composition, timing, and motion design consistently
- Editing and assembling video content where required using Premiere Pro
- Referencing and drawing inspiration from high-quality motion and learning content
- Delivering organised, clean project files suitable for collaboration and handoff
- A motion graphic designer, not just a video editor
- Comfortable working in brand-strict, corporate environments
- Detail-oriented, patient, and focused on polish
- Curious, self-driven, and genuinely invested in improving your craft
- Strong storytelling and visual sequencing instincts
- An excellent command of spoken and written English
- The ability to visualise scenes from scripts, descriptions, or rough storyboards
- A solid understanding of animation fundamentals (timing, spacing, easing, depth)
- The ability to stay organised and focused in a remote working environment
- A reliable internet connection and a capable machine
- Adobe Illustrator
- Experience working on e-learning or instructional content
- Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for image and video generation
- Previous experience working from home
Portfolio is mandatory. Please share the link separately as it sometimes doesn’t work when shared in your CV.
Please include 2–3 motion pieces that demonstrate:- Use of depth, lighting, or spatial layering
- Clean animation principles
- Attention to detail and polish
- You rely heavily on templates
- You only “edit” but don’t design or animate
- You struggle with structured briefs or brand guidelines
- You’re not interested in refining your craft and improving consistently
- Motion graphics is just “a job” to you
Please send:
- A short cover letter explaining why this type of animation work interests you
- A link to your portfolio included in your cover letter (note that links in PDF CVs don’t work at times)
