The Production Designer stays current with emerging tools and technologies, identifying opportunities to improve production efficiency and enhance design quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and produce executive‑level presentations, education materials, marketing assets, and internal tools.
  • Conceptualize and execute visually engaging graphics that align with brand standards and strategic messaging.
  • Support multiple presenters and stakeholders across the firm, adapting to varied presentation styles and audience needs.
  • Develop and upgrade graphics for presentations, social media, research publications, and other client‑facing materials.
  • Provide technical and conceptual design solutions tailored to audience, venue, and program format.
  • Ensure clarity, readability, and visual cohesion when communicating complex ideas.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, meeting tight and shifting deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Maintain and organize firm design assets and internal production resources.
  • Stay informed on emerging design technologies and production techniques to enhance workflow and output quality.
Collaboration & Work Environment
  • Partner with colleagues across the firm, including partners, faculty, administrators, and marketing team members.
  • Provide primary design support to the Cambridge Institute for Family Enterprise (education, research, and publishing division), which represents approximately 50% of the role.
  • Support 3–5 live education programs annually, requiring extended hours during program delivery.
  • Remain flexible and responsive to feedback in a client‑centric, high‑performance environment.
  • Occasional evening and weekend availability required, particularly during major programs and tight project timelines.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of professional design experience (experience in corporate, professional services, finance, or higher education environments preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in:
    • PowerPoint (including animation)
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • Adobe Illustrator
    • Adobe In Design
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and print production processes.
  • Strong understanding of digital and print design requirements.
  • Ability to independently manage a high volume of deliverables with competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments and handle last‑minute requests with professionalism and precision.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to high‑quality output.
  • Comfortable incorporating feedback and revising work as needed.
Work Arrangement
  • Primarily remote position.
  • Occasional in‑person meetings and events at the Cambridge, MA office.
  • Periodic evening and weekend work required, especially during live programs.
